Your contribution of at least ₦50,000 is your capital stake in the Cooperative — it earns you membership and a proportional share of the Cooperative's surplus. It is not a bank deposit and is not guaranteed or insured by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation or any government body. As with any cooperative, your capital is placed at the shared risk of the fund.
Your contribution is held by the Cooperative and governed by its Constitution, Bye-Laws, and Policies. You may withdraw your savings under the Withdrawal Policy (generally once per quarter, subject to fund liquidity and to your savings covering any loan you owe). A 30-day period applies before a new member may borrow.
All members are bound by the Cooperative's Constitution, Bye-Laws, and Policies, which are available on request and which may be amended by the members as those documents provide.
